How To Solve Limited or Low Connectivity Problem

If you are the one encountered the problem Limited  or low connectivity problem on you network and looking for the best solution for this problem, follow the rest of my post.

When your network shown limited or low connectivity message this means your computer fails to acquire IP address, NetMask, Gateway and DNS info from the Network and you can’t use your computer through Internet or can’t browse others network computers. Below are the sample screen shot.

Possible Solutions:

  • Right click to your LAN or WAN  and choose “ Repair” .  if the yellow triangle was removed , your problem solved but if not , follow the next solution.
  • Uninstall and install your LAN or WAN driver, below are the sample screen shot.

If those solution still not working reformat or reprogram your Windows or troubleshoot your Network Adapter by Hardware. How? below are the possible solution.

  • After you reprogram or reformat your Windows and still Limited or Low connectivity shown, here are the possible solution for hardware troubleshooting.
  • Try to experiment your UTP cable  connection by connecting in different slot of you HUB or router, Re-crimp both end of UTP cable (replace RJ-45) and lastly replace you LAN or WAN.
